Teenager charged with murder – Cabramatta

Cabramatta Detectives have charged a 17-year-old youth with murder following a shooting in Cabramatta earlier this year.

Shortly after midday on Sunday 2 August 2009, a confrontation occurred between numbers of men outside a home on Sulman Road resulting in a 37-year-old man being shot.

He was taken by ambulance to Liverpool Hospital where he later died.

Cabramatta detectives conducted a full investigation into the death and yesterday charged the 17-year-old with murder.

The youth was refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court today.

Investigations will continue.
